4 Paws for Ability teams with donut shop in fundraiser for service dogs
XENIA, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) – 4 Paws for Ability, a Xenia nonprofit that places service dogs in the homes of children and veterans with disabilities, is holding a fundraiser on Tuesday at Duck Donuts.
“In December, Duck Donuts made a Facebook post about looking for partners to host fundraisers,” said director of volunteer engagement KaLynn Clark. “I messaged them and shared our mission…and thankfully we were one of the partners they chose.”
4 Paws for Ability works closely with the University of Dayton and has several student volunteer trainers. Meg Maloney is a senior who has been fostering dogs for the past year.
