Beginning May 21 across all Duck Donut stores Facebook pages, a fan favorite donut will be featured. Fans who “comment” on the post will be entered to win a dozen donuts daily. Duck Donuts will also be out in each local community dropping off donuts to their neighbors.
On National Donut Day, Friday, June 2, everyone is a winner as Duck Donuts will be offering a FREE Donut of your choice with any purchase. Additionally, receipts printed on 6/2 will feature an exclusive BOGO coupon for a “Buy One Get One Free 1/2 Dozen” redeemable Mon thru Wed until Aug. 31.
National Doughnut Day was originally established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor women who served donuts to soldiers during World War I. Known as the “Doughnut Lassies” these women are often credited with popularizing donuts in the United States. The holiday continues to be celebrated each year on the first Friday in June.
