One-Day New, Celebration Includes Free Small Hot Coffee With Any Purchase
Duck Donuts, the fastest-growing donut franchise in the United States, is serving customers a special offer in celebration of National Coffee Day on Saturday, September 29. Customers can enjoy a free small hot coffee with any purchase, no coupon necessary.*
“Duck Donuts is always looking for entertaining ways to engage its customers, whether it’s celebrating micro-holidays such as National Coffee Day, or with unique limited-time flavors,” said Russ DiGilio, founder and owner of Duck Donuts Franchising Company. “Since the majority of our sales come from donuts, National Coffee Day provides an opportunity to sample our great coffee to customers, the perfect complement to a donut.”
Duck Donuts fans have the chance to fall in love with its new limited-time flavors. Now through November 25, all locations are offering two brand new toppings, chopped apple and streusel, and welcoming a returning fall staple, pumpkin icing. Made with real fruit, the apple topping has the consistency of apple pie filling with hints of cinnamon, while the pumpkin icing is creamy and sweet with a dash of spice. In addition to serving its signature coffee blends, Riptide Roast, Light House Blend and Sunset Pier Decaf, locations are featuring its fall coffee brew, Rio Samba.
Duck Donuts specializes in Warm, Delicious and Made-to-Order!® donuts. Customers can create their own donut combination by choosing from a variety of coatings, toppings and drizzles, including traditional favorites such as chocolate icing with sprinkles and more adventurous creations such as maple icing with bacon. The family-friendly stores offer a viewing area where children and adults alike can watch their donuts being made. Duck Donuts also sells coffee, tea, donut breakfast sandwiches and now offers online ordering in many locations. ABOUT DUCK DONUTS
Duck Donuts was founded in 2006 by Russ DiGilio in Duck, North Carolina. His intention? To solve a family vacation problem: “Our family wanted a place to buy warm, delicious, made-to-order donuts, and when we couldn’t find one, we decided to start our own.”
By 2011, Duck Donuts had expanded to four Outer Banks locations and the donut business was so successful that DiGilio was continuously approached about franchise opportunities by fans who begged for a Duck Donuts in their community. The first franchise opened in Williamsburg, Virginia, in 2013, and there are now 71 open franchise locations and more than 140 additional contracts in 24 states and two countries.
