The first Pittsburgh area location of Duck Donuts is now open in Upper St. Clair, located at 100 Siena Drive, Suite 220, at the new Siena at St. Clair retail center.
This is the fourth Pennsylvania location of the popular North Carolina franchise that specializes in made-to-order donuts. The others are in Lancaster, Mechanicsburg and Hershey.
Pittsburgh natives, Andrew and Kate Jarusinsky, opened the store after visiting a Duck Donuts while vacationing in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Duck Donuts was founded in 2006 in Duck, N.C. There are 45 national locations with a total of 120 under contract.
The Jarusinskys have said they hope to open other locations in Western Pennsylvania over coming years. The Upper St. Clair location is open 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
